Well, it was bound to happen. I haven't been sleeping well for a while but have been carrying on no matter how tired... I'm surprised I didn't get sick earlier. There were a few times last week when I debated staying home due to lack of sleep but there were things at work that I couldnt/didn't want to miss so I went anyway. But now I have a fever, and luckily, it's no biggie if I miss work today. Hopefully I'll be okay tomorrow: I'm supposed to have dinner with the editor at my pet magazine in the evening.

Less than one week until Geordie comes! Hooray!

What is new?

* Bought a new suit. Expensive, but I had to bite the bullet; need to have something to wear when the other jacket is at the cleaners.

* Went to a big hot springs facility... it had all kinds of baths, plus a co-ed swimming area (you wear bathing suits) with a warm-water pool equipped with all kinds of different jets that massage different parts of your bodies. Three kinds of saunas with different aromatherapy aromas. Soft water baths and various baths with medicinal hot spring water. It was super nice but I shouldn't have gone when I was overtired because I think the hot-cold-hot-cold stress put me over the edge...

* Went to church with Yoyo

* Went to Tokyo Museum of Modern Art. They were doing a special exhibition on the new Miyazaki movie, Hal's Moving Castle. We were all excited, but it was a big letdown. Designed for kids, it consisted of just life-sized manequins of the movie characters redisigned with an icky circus theme. No information or anything. Boring! But the permanent exhibition was definately very cool. I don't think I've ever been let down at a modern art museum in Japan, though I have been a number of times in the states. Made me want to go to more museums while I'm here.
